About Rachael Libolt

Rachael Libolt has been turning people’s bathrobes into wardrobes since 1986. It all started with a fashion S.O.S. call from a friend, Liz. She knew that Rachael’s years of experience in the fashion industry and educational background qualified her for the task.

During the next 15 years Rachael developed her wardrobe consultation business one closet and one client at a time. In 1995 she was recruited by Saks Fifth Avenue to work as a personal shopper in their exclusive 5th Avenue Club.

When Rachael sent her Kids to college, she also returned to college and completed her masters degree in 2006. While in graduate school she developed a series of workshops designed to assist women in presenting an image that convey professional credibility, power, and effectiveness. Rachael presented this research to The California Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Western Regional Conference in the spring of 2007 and is featured on the California Community Colleges Fashion Website. In 2008, Rachael was awarded a grant from the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences to research the fashion industry in San Diego County. She was able to forge partnerships with many local businesses. These businesses may provide internship opportunities for Palomar fashion students.
